I've had this grill for about a month now. I'm very pleased with it. Setup was easy and it seems to cooks evenly. The material quality is good - I had considered the weber but thought I try this after I found out it basically was a weber (fully weber warranty and support). I'm happy with the purchase. -- Ducane

This is the 2nd Ducane I purchased. One is for me and the other I purchased for my daughter and son-in-law. Why Ducane? I purchased mine five years ago and it's holding up to the weather conditions in Washington.Their are only a couple of problems I've encountered, The electronic start doesn't work anymore. No big deal. And secondly the back seems to cook faster than in the front. The big draw back for me is gas grills don't have the smokey flavor one gets from charcoal briquet's. -- BBq'ing

I bought this grill locally for only $299 (before tax) and had to bring it home myself. But fortunately the box fit completely into my little SUV and once home it was not too much trouble to unload. I managed to assemble the grill, all by myself, for a bit over 2 hours, and I'm not much of a handyman to begin with. It was easier than I expected. All parts fit nicely and seems to be made of quality material, even thought it's Made in China. The final result is a handsome grill that's not too large but look quite high-class. No sharp edges, misalignment or protruding parts. When firing up the grill for the 1st time for 20 minutes, the side panels get hot, but not burning.

Tonight we will host our first BBQ party at the current residence and we expect Ducane Affinity 3100 to shine. -- Easier/Better Than Expected

The grill works well it is very functional but not particularly attractive. I replaced a stainless grill that looked great but performed poorly. I went for function over beauty and am happy with the results. That being said based on the weight I expected the grill to be more substantial than it is. It is well built but the heat shields,grill etc are not as heavy duty as I expected. It is nice having the tank out of sight and the work area is well executed. The grill is Black and Grey the picture may lead you to think the work area is shiney it is not. This grill is big enough to cook for most cooks outs while still not a crazy size if it is just a burger or two. The reason I bought this model was its compactness, most grills above 250 are now ridiculously large unless you have ten kids or a hotdog stand. All in all I am very happy with the purchase I have to be it looks like it will last a longtime. I received all the parts and it went together easily. This has stainless grill! Easy to clean and no harm coating outcome. The best Weber grill I've ever had. Three burner is good for 8 people dinner steak. While assembling this one, you'll find it's way beyond expectation. It's worth the price. Never beaten by any other product. -- Take this instead of over $600 Stainless grill.
